Keith Olbermann Blames Deportations for Boulder Terror Attack: ‘Blood on Trump’s Hands’

President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement are to blame for Sunday’s Boulder, Colorado terror attack, according to leftist pundit Keith Olbermann, who claimed the administration’s immigration crackdown is “merely to satiate the sadism of Trump and Miller and the psychopaths who support them,” calling it a performance and “a preliminary to ethnic cleansing in this country.”

On Tuesday, former sports analyst and left-wing commentator Keith Olbermann unleashed a fiery tirade against President Trump in a promo for the new episode of his Countdown podcast, claiming Trump and his allies are directly responsible for the recent terror attack in Boulder.

“It is Trump’s fault, it is Stephen Miller’s fault, it is MAGA’s fault,” Olbermann declared in a clip posted to X, referring to the firebombing attack targeting attendees of a Sunday gathering in support of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.

“The attempt to remove so-called illegal aliens from this country has nothing to do with stopping terrorism or stopping people who might commit crimes,” he continued. “It is here merely to satiate the sadism of Trump and Miller and the psychopaths who support them.”

“It is a performance, it is a preliminary to ethnic cleansing in this country, to something they call remigration,” he added.

Olbermann’s post was headlined: “TRUMP IS TO BLAME FOR BOULDER TERROR ATTACK. If you are going to seize people off the streets, seize the dangerous threats, not women and kids who can’t fight back against cowardly ICE Gestapo. This is on Trump.”

Sunday’s Park Street Mall attack in Boulder, Colorado, which left multiple victims injured, is under investigation by both local police and federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI. Local law enforcement confirmed the suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, was a foreign national without current legal status.

Soliman was accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at participants in a pro-Israel walk supporting hostages held by Hamas. Eyewitnesses and video footage show the attacker shouting, “End Zionists,” and “Palestine is free.”

On Monday, President Trump responded forcefully to the weekend attack, posting a statement condemning the incident and tying it directly to the Biden administration’s “open border” failures.

Calling the act “terrorism,” he demanded the immediate deportation of “illegal, anti-American radicals” under his administration’s policy.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denounced the firebombing as a “vicious terror attack” and warned that rising global antisemitism is fueled by “blood libels against the Jewish state and people.”

The matter comes amid growing criticism that mainstream media outlets and far-left activists have contributed to a climate of hostility against Jews by spreading misinformation and demonizing Israel.

Report: Boulder Terror Attack Suspect Is Illegal Alien Admitted Under Biden

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials have revealed that the suspect behind the Park Street Mall attack in Boulder, Colorado, is an illegal alien who entered the United States under the Biden administration.

Fox News’s Bill Melugin revealed that “three senior” DHS sources said Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, is “an Egyptian national in the U.S. illegally,” and has overstayed his visa after entering the United States under the Biden administration.

Melugin added that he was “told” Soliman “arrived at LAX on 8/27/22 on a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa with an authorized stay through 2/26/23, but he overstayed & never left.”

“I’m told on 9/29/22, he filed some sort of claim with USCIS, potentially an asylum claim, and on 3/29/23, USCIS under the Biden admin gave him work authorization, which expired on 3/28/25,” Melugin added.

Melugin’s post came after FBI Special Agent Mark Michalek revealed during a press conference that Soliman had been identified as the suspect behind the attack which left multiple people injured and burned. Michalek also said there were six victims between the ages of 67-88 and that witnesses had reported the suspect had “used a makeshift flamethrower and threw an incendiary device into the crowd.”

“I’m able to confirm there are six victims, ages 67-88, all of them have been transported to local hospitals,” Michalek shared. “This attack happened at a regularly scheduled weekly peaceful event. Witnesses are reporting that the subject used a makeshift flamethrower and threw an incendiary device into the crowd. The suspect was heard to yell, ‘Free Palestine’ during the attack. The subject has been identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, and he’s 45-years-old.”

“As a result of these preliminary facts, it is clear that this is a targeted act of violence and the FBI is investigating this as an act of terrorism,” Michalek continued. “Sadly, attacks like this are becoming too common across the country, this is an example of how perpetrators of violence continue to threaten communities across our nation.”

The identification of Soliman as the suspect behind the attack in Boulder comes hours after reports came out that multiple people had been injured and burned by an attacker with Molotov cocktails while they were taking part in a pro-Israel walk to support hostages held by Hamas.

Videos on social media show Soliman allegedly shouting, “end Zionists,” and, “Palestine is Free.”

One person, Rick Holter told Colorado Public Radio (CPR) News that after he left a store, he saw “someone on the ground being doused by bystanders” and a “shirtless man holding squirt bottles and yelling”:

CPR News spoke with Rick Holter of Pagosa Springs, who was in a store nearby when someone said there was fire outside.

When he exited, Holter didn’t see anything aflame, although there was someone on the ground being doused by bystanders. He also saw a shirtless man holding squirt bottles and yelling.

“We watched as the police arrived a couple of minutes later and this guy, the shirtless guy, went down on the ground and was handcuffed and taken away then,” said Holter.

Another witness told KDVR News there was a woman “burning on the ground,” and two other people had been “impacted by burns on their legs”:

A man who was on Pearl Street at the time of the attack said he saw a fire and then saw a cloud of smoke. He said that when they got to the scene, there was a woman “burning on the ground” and two other people impacted by burns on their legs.

He said the incident occurred during “some kind of religious protest.”

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) issued a statement that his thoughts were with the “people who have been injured by this heinous” attack on the Jewish community. Polis added that the suspect should be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

“My thoughts go out to the people who have been injured by this heinous and targeted act on the Jewish community,” Polis said. “Boulder is strong. We have overcome tragedies together and will get through this together as a community. I’ve spoken with Boulder Mayor Brockett, and my administration is working closely with local and federal law enforcement on this afternoon’s attack.”

“As the Jewish community reels from the recent antisemitic murders in Washington, D.C., it is unfathomable that the community is facing another antisemitic attack here in Boulder on the eve of the holiday of Shavuot,” Polis continued. “Several individuals were brutally attacked while peacefully drawing attention to the plight of hostages who have been held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza for 604 days. Hate is unacceptable in our Colorado for all, and I condemn this act of terror. The suspect should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Paris officials investigate vandalism at Holocaust memorial, 3 synagogues

Karin Prien on confronting rise of antisemitism

Post-WWII Germany’s first Jewish cabinet member on finding her “political voice,” facing the past

Authorities in Paris have launched an investigation after several Jewish sites across the capital were defaced with green paint.

The vandalism, discovered early Saturday morning, targeted the Shoah Memorial, two synagogues and a Jewish restaurant in the city’s historic Marais district, as well as a third synagogue in the 20th arrondissement (district). An open can of paint was reportedly found nearby, while French media said surveillance footage from the Holocaust Memorial showed an individual dressed in black spraying paint overnight.

Photos from the Shoah Memorial show paint coating a wall engraved with the names of the 76,000 Jewish men, women and children deported from France between 1942 and 1944.

The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed it had opened a probe for “damage committed on the grounds of religion,” citing attacks on “three synagogues, a restaurant, and the Shoah Memorial” during the night of Friday to Saturday.

Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau expressed his “immense disgust” regarding the acts of vandalism targeting the Jewish community through a post on X, formerly Twitter.

The acts come ahead of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. France’s interior ministry had already called for heightened security around Jewish sites this weekend due to heightened global tensions.

No suspects have been arrested, and no group has claimed responsibility.

France has the third-largest Jewish population in the world, behind Israel and the United States, according to the Institute for Jewish Policy Research.

Kanye West Says ‘I Am Done with Antisemitism’ Weeks After Sharing ‘N*gga Heil Hitler’ Song

Troubled rapper and fashion designer Kanye West declared he is “done with antisemitism” just weeks after he released a song where he chants “N*gga, Heil Hitler” as a repeated chorus.

“I am done with antisemitism,” West wrote in a Thursday morning X post.

“I love all people,” the “Runaway” rapper added in a follow-up post.

In a third X post, West declared, “God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused.”

“I forgive those who have caused me pain,” the “Heil Hitler” rapper added in another follow-up post.

In another X post, West suggested the reason for why he has a sudden change of heart, writing, “I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again…”

Social media users, however, are skeptical, pointing out that the rapper’s apparent change in course has transpired amid two Israeli Embassy staffers being murdered outside a Jewish community event in Washington, D.C.

“You are complicit in the murder of two people last night who were killed because they were thought to be Jewish,” one X user asserted. “You brought hate into this world and lost people believe your sh*t talking.”

“Bruh you say this every 4 months and get worse every time,” another commented.

“You have: Denied the holocaust, Praised Hitler, Wore a KKK suit, Posted antisemitic tweets, Had sex with your cousin, Praised Diddy, Followed Diddy on Instagram, Wrote a song praising Hitler,” a third declared, adding, “I will never forgive you Kayne, you will always be a terrorist.”

Another X user told West to “fuck right off,” adding, “Even if you’re sincere, you helped to fuel Jew hatred and gave it a platform,” before suggesting the rapper “stay antisemitic so we can see you very clearly.”

“Get help bud,” another advised. “You are too talented to spew so much hate.”

“How can you release a song called heil Hitler then be ‘done’ with antisemitism?” another inquired.

“Nothing quite says ‘I am done with antisemitism’ like just having released a song called ‘Heil Hitler’ a few weeks ago,” another X user quipped.

As Breitbart News reported, earlier this month, West released a “Heil Hitler” music video featuring the lyrics, “They don’t understand the things I say on Twitter. All my niggas Nazis. Nigga, Heil Hitler.”

This came a few months after the “Heartless” rapper offered a $20 white t-shirt adorned with a black swastika on the e-commerce website for his fashion brand Yeezy.

Notably, West’s swastika t-shirt was posted to Yeezy’s website just days after the rapper issued a series of bizarre and unhinged all-caps tirades on X, which included praising Adolf Hitler and disseminating disparaging remarks against Jews and white people, among other sentiments.

The madness appeared to begin in October 2022, when West proclaimed he would be “going death [Def] Con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” resulting in the rapper and fashion mogul to lose his sponsors, including Adidas and Balenciaga.

Police Name Sole Suspect in Fatal D.C. Shooting of Two Israeli Embassy Staff

Police have named the sole suspect in the deadly shooting Wednesday night of two Israeli Embassy staff members in Washington, DC.

The suspect, identified as Elias Rodriguez, 30, of Chicago, was observed pacing outside the outside the Capital Jewish Museum before the shooting.

He allegedly walked into the institution after the slaying and was detained by event security, Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith said, but not before he yelled, “Free, free Palestine” as he was arrested, as Breitbart News reported.

AP reports it was not immediately clear whether Rodriguez had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.

A telephone number listed in public records rang unanswered.

“These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW!” President Donald Trump posted on social media early Thursday in response to the shooting.

“Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA.”

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said security would now be stepped up at Israeli embassies around the world.

“I have instructed to enhance security arrangements at Israeli missions around the world and to increase protection for state representatives,” he said.

“We are witnessing the terrible price of anti-Semitism and the wild incitement against the State of Israel.”

Harvard president takes pay cut as university attempts to cover frozen funds

Harvard is clearly starting to feel the effect of going toe-to-toe with the Trump administration.

The Ivy League university has notified its researchers and students that they will dip into their saving accounts to help cover the gap caused by frozen research funding withheld after the school refused to bow before the whims of the federal government — and the school’s president is apparently taking a voluntary pay cut.

“Although we cannot absorb the entire cost of the suspended or canceled federal funds, we will mobilize financial resources to support critical research activity for a transitional period as we continue to work with our researchers to identify alternative funding sources,” Harvard President Alan Garber and Provost John Manning wrote in a joint letter addressed to members of the university community.

Garber will take a voluntary 25% pay cut during the upcoming fiscal year, according to a spokesperson for the university. Garber’s current salary is not publicly available information.

The university will also “dedicate $250 million of central funding to complement School-based resources and strategies to support research affected by these recent suspensions and cancellations” to help defray grant funding lost after the school chose against complying with President Donald Trump’s attempts to coerce the school into compliance with his demands they abandon diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and do more to combat antisemitism on campus.

Their fight has already cost them.

According to the university, the federal government has frozen more than $2 billion in research funding meant for use by Harvard scientists. In just the last week, Garber and Manning wrote, “The University has received a large number of grant terminations from the federal government, stopping lifesaving research and, in some cases, losing years of important work.”

In a letter sent by Trump’s Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism to the university on Tuesday, the administration informed Harvard that another $450 million in grants were on the chopping block because the school has allegedly become a “breeding ground for virtue signaling and discrimination.”

“This is not leadership; it is cowardice. And it’s not academic freedom; it’s institutional disenfranchisement,” the letter reads.

According to the task force, “There is a dark problem on Harvard’s campus” at present, where they claim administrators are “prioritizing appeasement over accountability,” and as such have “forfeited the school’s claim to taxpayer support.”

“As a result, eight federal agencies across the government are announcing the termination of approximately $450 million in grants to Harvard, which is in addition to the $2.2 billion that was terminated last week,” they wrote.

The most recent grant terminations come after the school, on Monday, informed Education Secretary Linda McMahon that the university is not willing to “surrender its core, legally-protected principles out of fear of unfounded retaliation by the federal government,” especially while progress toward admittedly necessary reforms takes place.

Garber acknowledged the university has some work to do in order to “combat antisemitism and other bigotry through policy and discipline reforms, academic investments, community support initiatives, and educational programs,” but said that their efforts are being “undermined and threatened by the federal government’s overreach into the constitutional freedoms of private universities and its continuing disregard of Harvard’s compliance with the law.”

Earlier this week, Harvard amended a lawsuit they’ve filed against the Trump administration to include the Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism’s apparent determination to strip Harvard of grant funding.

“On May 13, 2025, the Federal Task Force issued a press release claiming ‘Harvard University has repeatedly failed to confront the pervasive race discrimination and anti-Semitic harassment plaguing its campus,’ and stating that ‘[t]he Task Force fully supports the Trump Administration’s multi-agency move to cut funding to Harvard, demonstrating the entire Administration’s commitment to eradicating discrimination on Harvard’s campus,’” the amended suit informs the court.

According to the suit, the Trump administration is deliberately ignoring the “meaningful reforms” the school has taken to “eliminate antisemitism and other forms of hate” seen on campus.

U.S. Sens. Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren, along with House Minority Whip Katherine Clark and U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, have condemned the Trump administration’s war on Harvard as an unconstitutional and authoritarian overreach.

“The Trump administration is demonstrating astonishing disregard for not only the students, faculty, and staff that these cuts impact, but also for the general public who benefit from scientific breakthroughs and the global standing of the United States,” they said in a joint statement.

Herald wire services contributed.

Columbia: Police Arrest Pro-Palestinian Protesters Occupying Library

Police arrested multiple pro-Palestinian protesters who occupied the Butler Library on the Columbia University campus on Wednesday.

The protesters, many wearing masks and kaffiyehs, were seen pushing through the security entrance at the Butler Library on Wednesday afternoon, where they played drums and “posted signs and stickers to free Mahmoud Khalil, a recent Columbia grad who’s been detained by ICE,” per the New York Times. The protesters occupied the building in an attempt to recreate the events from last year.

The Columbia University Apartheid Divest movement declared in a Substack post that it occupied the library to “show that as long as Columbia funds and profits from imperialist violence, the people will continue to disrupt Columbia’s profits and legitimacy.”

The Trump administration has previously accused Columbia University of failing to thwart antisemitism on its campus, recently cutting $400 million in federal research funding to the school.

“Nearly an hour into the protest, the large group attempted to push through public safety and out of the reading room, but were stopped by personnel who asked for their identification cards,” reported the Times.

“Through a megaphone, one officer informed students that if they show ID, they will be allowed to leave ‘without issue,’ but failure to do so would make them subject to arrest,” it added.

The NYPD told Politico that “multiple” arrests had been made, without giving a specific number.

Columbia University said in a statement that students may face disciplinary action. “It is completely unacceptable that some individuals are choosing to disrupt academic activities as our students are studying and preparing for final exams,” the statement said.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) called for the school to take swift action in a post on X.

“While Columbia students try to study for finals, they’re being bombarded with chants for a ‘global intifada,’” Stefanik said. “President @realDonaldTrump is right: not a single taxpayer dollar should go to a university that allows chaos, antisemitism, and civil rights violations on its campus. Columbia must act — enough is enough.”
