Good, for a slinky.
The kid loves slinky’s, but if you have ever used one, you know what happens to them. We started buying them in multi packs like this because a slinky is good for about 1-3 play sessions before it’s bent out of shape, no matter the manufacturer. Amazon price is good, delivery is fast.

what a wonderful toy
its slinkey, its slinky, what a wonderful toy. its fun for a girl or a boy!the slinky is a classic toy that was born in the spirit of fun in what was some pretty dark times. during world war 2 there was a couple machinists who were seeing how deep of a cut they could take with the metal lathe, the ended up making the first ever slinky while screwing off.while the slinky never was good at going down multiple stairs unless the rise and run were the perfect pitch, I remember trying for hours experimenting different heights and lengths to make it work. it inspired imagination and inginuity. i would recommend locking any teenager in a room with one and seeing what happens (get video and share please).

Great Slinky – Squirrels not impressed
I mean, the Slinky is great, very sturdy, exactly as advertised.If you want to play with it yourself you should clean it a bit first, as is to be expected on an item like that.For my intended purpose, the defense of a bird feeder, it did not exactly impress our little rascal here 😉

Nostalgic toy
Being a Baby Boomer this Slinky brings memories. I keep it on a shelf for decoration purpose and as a talk piece. I gave it 4 stars since a coil came misaligned.

Itâs the slinky. It was a little oily from the box
It seems like there was a decent amount of factory lubricant from when it was made still on the slinkyâs so it got on your hands and kind of stunk. No biggie for me but donât let your toddler put it in their mouth right out the box. You might want to wipe it down first. Other than that it seems like the original slinky and the 3 pack seems like a decent value.

A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing!Everybody knows itâs slinkyDo yourself a favor – if youâre buying a kid their first slinky, buy two. They will bend it, warp it, tangle it, wrap it around every object in sight (including the dog). It does not bend back into shape. You can try every âhackâ on the googlenets, but it Will. Not. Happen.You will be relentlessly pestered on the status of the slinky repair to the point that you hop back on Amazon to find the highest rated noise cancelling headphones. I promise they are far more expensive than the slinky. Just buy two.

Itâs NOT the original slinky
I hate having to write this, but donât buy this âoriginal slinkyâ expecting it to be the same thing you played with as a kid. Itâs smaller or shorter or lighter (or all of these). I tried showing my daughter how it goes down stairs, but it doesnât. It also doesnât roll from one hand to the other as well as the old ones. Still fun, but not what I wanted.

Great to keep squirrels off of the bird feeders
This is awesome for keeping squirrels out of your bird feeders. Just place is on the shepherds hook and they are not able to climb up it. Fun to watch them try as well!
