TAC Infosec Continues Bull Run, Touches Fresh All-Time High

Continuing its bull run from last week, cybersecurity company TAC Infosec hit a fresh all-time high during intraday trading session today (December 16). The company’s shares touched an upper circuit of INR 1,059.50 as of 2:50 PM, up 5% from previous close.

With this spurt, TAC Infosec’s market capitalisation zoomed to INR 1,110.31 Cr ($130.87 Mn). 

With the gains from today’s trading session, TAC Infosec’s shares have rallied over 265% from its listing price of INR 290. 

It is pertinent to mention that TAC Infosec made one of the biggest public market debuts from the startup ecosystem this year. In April, the company’s IPO closed with a whopping 392.5X oversubscription. Following this, the company listed on the NSE Emerge platform at a premium of 173.6% on the issue price of INR 106. 

Founded in 2016 by Trishneet Arora, TAC Infosec offers risk-based vulnerability management and assessment solutions, and other SaaS cybersecurity solutions to enterprises and small businesses.

The most recent bull run began after the company announced that it has has become an ioXt Authorised Lab, joining an “exclusive league of only eight companies worldwide”, on December 11. 

ioXt claims to be a global alliance which sets the standard for IoT Security. With this, the cybersecurity company said that it will foray into the IoT (Internet of Things) security market by rolling over IoT security assessments services from February 2025 onwards. It contended that this will solidify TAC Security’s positioning as the “world’s largest integrated vulnerability management company”.

“IoT devices are a cornerstone of our digital future, yet they remain highly vulnerable to cyber threats. Being approved as an ioXt Authorized Lab empowers us to ensure manufacturers and enterprises meet global security benchmarks. This milestone is a significant leap in our mission to become the world’s largest vulnerability management company,” TAC Infosec’s CTO Saransh Rawat said.
