Two major players in kids’ entertainment are teaming up for a big collab. Roblox, the wildly popular gaming platform that allows users to create and share their own games and play while chatting with friends, is introducing a new feature: music from KIDZ BOP.

Roblox has become a phenomenon among young people—it has reached an astonishing 88.9 million active users, while KIDZ BOP has sold more than 24 million albums since its launch in 2001. This brings the two kids’ media powerhouses together in one game.
KIDZ BOP Music Is Now Available on Roblox
KIDZ BOP joined with the media company Gamefam to bring some of its hit songs to a Roblox game called “Really Easy Obby.” It’s to help celebrate the release of the brand’s latest album, KIDZ BOP 50. In case you didn’t know, KIDZ BOP is known for its group of talented kids re-recording versions of popular songs that are sometimes more appropriate and kid-friendly than their mainstream counterparts.
The game features kid-friendly versions of popular songs from KIDZ BOP 50. Within the game, players dance their way through an obstacle course where they collect musical notes for points while listening to songs from the album.Â
Like most games on Roblox, “Really Easy Obby” is available for kids to play for free—and this is the first time KidzBop songs have been available on the Roblox gaming platform.

Why Some Parents Are Concerned About Roblox Safety
The platform also allows users to chat with strangers while they play, which might give some parents pause before allowing it in their home. In addition, parents should keep in mind that because the games on Roblox are user generated, your child might inadvertently be exposed to content that does align with your family’s values.Â
Another aspect of Roblox that has raised red flags in the past is the fact that, although most games are free to play, users can make purchases within games, leading to kids accidentally charging sometimes thousands of dollars to the credit card connected with the account. These issues have pushed some parents to delete Roblox entirely—if you don’t plan to do the same, experts recommend closely monitoring what your kid plays on the platform.Â
However, there isn’t necessarily a reason to ban your kids from playing on Roblox. Experts say Roblox is generally safe for kids 13 and older. There are also parental control options for parents who want to monitor what their kids play on the platform.Â
In November of 2024, the platform also released even more protections for young users of Roblox, including limiting screen time, chat settings that do not allow users under 13 to be messaged directly, and games labeled by maturity level.
