Fun quick game that’s great to have for little kids to play and adults too
If you have a preschooler then this is a great game to get. It’s a straightforward little dice game and the “little stinker” is the doggie dice roller. The dice roller makes it very easy for our kid to roll the dice. The game is playable with just 2 people which we also appreciate since we can play this one on one with our kid. It would be easy to put this in a bag and throw it into a purse or travel toy bag for your kid. You don’t need much space to play this either which we appreciate because sometimes board games take up a ton of table space. Since this is dice, you can play it on the floor, or on a small table easily. I just wish it had a little tray to roll the dice into, they could have designed one into the packaging. But the game is adorable, very quick to learn and it’s clear that they had kids test this out because the stars on the dice roller really really helped our kid be able to use it. We also liked the kid instructions vs the adult instructions. They made a condensed version of the instructions to read out loud to the kids. Which is what I tend to need because I get bored listening to rules droning on. This game would be great for camping, keeping in the car, take on vacation, it’s a great value for sure and we are so glad to add it to our collection

Fun game, useless dice shaker
I played this game with my husband and 10-year-old. Given its 4+ age rating, we were worried it wouldn’t be fun for older kids and adults, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that we like this game a lot. The mechanics are simple and easy to learn and gameplay can range from only a few minutes to fifteen, depending on how many people are playing and how lucky a person gets with their rolls. It feels fast even at its longest, and even the adults don’t get bored. The only negative for this game is the dice shaker. While it’s adorable and the idea of it is fun, it’s completely impractical. It only shakes dice effectively when there are around five or less, and over that, there’s no room for them to move. At times, a player might have 15 or so dice in a two-player game and they barely fit at that point. We wound up switching to a standard dice cup, which worked fine, but the storage box is large to accommodate the dice cup, which means we either need to find a different, easily recognizable way to store the dice or deal with a space hog because of a decorative element.Five stars for the game, two for the cup, four stars overall.

Definitely for younger kids
We live the exploding kitten games so thought Iâd give this a try. Initially, I got this game to add to my âgrandkid collectionâ since it was rated for ages 4 and up. I would say thatâs accurate. I did, however, play it with my older kids. After learning the rules, they had a good time despite being 4 times the recommended age! Who doesnât love a little dog who spits out diceâ¦There was definitely some strategy involved in getting to the end of it all which makes it appropriate for older kids as well. You need to learn the rules first, they are simple but important. It was enjoyable and certainly geared toward the littler market and I believe thatâs a good thing being that most kid games are moving around game boards. This one mimics more âgrown-upâ games. As a game loving family, weâll mix it in now and then even though itâs a bit young for our children, it was fun.Your little kids will really enjoy it! I highly recommend this game.

Uncomplicated mechanics and lots of laughs
This is a cute game with uncomplicated dynamics and simple rules thatâs appropriate for young children. We ordered it to play with our niece and nephew who are both under 10. Your child needs to be able to pay enough attention to learn some simple rules and mechanics. Itâs a picture matching dice game where the player rolls the dice using an innovative dog shaker and then matches the dice with the picture cards laid out on the table. Mud puddles are unlucky, and bones are lucky – makes sense! The goal is simple and direct: get rid of all your dice. I like that the game reinforces strategy and problem solving in a cute and silly way.

Grandkids ages 7 and 10 with two adults enjoyed playing
This is a good one.7 year old granddaughter, 10 year old grandson and two adults enjoyed playing together. Granddaughter isnât into super long games that are competitive/strategy games, so we try to find new games that we can still enjoy as adults, but also both kids as well. Exploding Kittens (the company who makes that game) has come out with some really good ones! We havenât had one we didnât like. So if you see any others by that company, theyâre usually worth it.

Fun & cute family game for 3+ players (not as good with only 2 players)
This is a cute game and the rules were very easy to understand. My 7 year-old enjoyed the process of reading the instructions and rules of the game. Set up is really easy, but we were a bit confused about how many dice to use for a 2-player game (we used them all). Each game lasted 5-10 minutes, no nice and bite-sized. We soon realized that it was purely a game of luck, with no real skill or strategy involved. However, when we tried again with 3 players, the experience was completely different, with less dice (only 6 each) and the strategic decision of who to give the “doggy” dice to. I actually think the game should be advertised as a 3+ player game only, because it’s a bit too simplistic with only 2-players and the claimed educational benefits aren’t really present in this mode. Decent value for a fun family game.

We like playing this when we just fancy a quick game after dinner to spend a little family time together before everyone goes back to their screens! Itâs a super simple game to play and is mostly down to luck if you win or not, but the game is pretty quick to learn and play and we have a great time. We love the little dice shaker as it adds a fun element to the game. And overall I can recommend this if you are after a game like it.

I recently picked up “Exploding Kittens Presents: You Little Stinker,” and it has quickly become a favorite in my household! This card game is a delightful mix of humor and strategy, perfect for family game nights or gatherings with friends. The quirky illustrations and witty text bring a lighthearted vibe that keeps everyone engaged and laughing. The gameplay is straightforward yet entertaining. Itâs easy to learn, which is fantastic for players of all ages. Each round is filled with surprising twists and turns, making it impossible to predict who will come out on top. The combination of luck and strategy means that every game feels fresh and exciting, ensuring that no two sessions are ever the same. What I appreciate most is that the game is designed for quick play, usually wrapping up in about 15 to 20 minutes. This makes it easy to squeeze in a few rounds, even on busy days. The game is also compact, so it’s great for travel or bringing to parties.”You Little Stinker” is a fantastic addition to any game collection. Its humor, simplicity, and engaging gameplay make it a must-try for anyone looking to have a good time with friends and family!

Just played this with m grandkids aged 7 and 12 . Very simple game yet such fun . Simple rules that are east to follow. There is no boards with this though we is a tad annoying even though you can play it without one. Just think would finish it off to have a backboard to play on rather than just directly on a tablem

The game is straightforward and easy to learn. Each player receives a dog card, while a mud card is placed in the center and a bone card is set aside. The dice should be distributed evenly among the players. To begin, one player shakes the dice and matches the blank faces to their dog card and the dog faces to the other players’ dog cards. The bone dice are then removed from the game, and play continues to the next player. The objective is to be the first player to lose all their dice. This game serves as an excellent introduction to dice games, making it suitable for young children. However, it may not be engaging enough for players aged 6 and older, and could be considered somewhat dull for those aged 8 and above. I would recommend it primarily for younger kids. The price of £19.99 may be considered a bit high for a set that includes 20 dice and cards.

This is such a simple game but can develop some good tactical thinking. It’s one for a quick play with either one other person or the whole family. The dice shaker is very cute and the dice have shapes cut into them which are painted. The dice painting is really well done although the stinker side could have been a more prominent colour in my opinion. There are a few cards that are used as place markers which are well cut and printed clearly. The game itself is simple to understand and suitable for all ages. In fact the instructions have a special section that is to be read to younger players and keeps the description of the gameplay really simple which is a nice touch.
