A Fun, light hearted musical
As usual, the Frank Sinatra/Gene Kelly duo makes for another fun and entertaining film. This is a must-have for any collector.Special Features include: two deleted dance numbers, some theatrical trailers, and film notes.That being said, in my own personal opinion, this was my least favorite of the three films they did together. Please don’t take that statement as an insult though, I just really enjoyed their other sailor-themed films a lot more. Especially that of “Anchors Aweigh,” which had wonderful music, memorable dances, and a little more character depth than this film that I’m rating.If you’re new to Kelly-Sinatra films, I would recommend starting with “Anchors Aweigh” or “On The Town” first, but chances are this film will still turn you on to the others because, it too, is a wonderful movie.

This is lesser known but my absolute favorite of the Frank Sinatra/Gene Kelly movies. I am a HUGE Betty Garret fan and she is at the top of her game in this.

You Canât Go Wrong With Gene Kelly
This is one of three films where Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra appear together. I never liked Frank Sinatra so well as when he plays off Gene Kelly. Pure fun and entertainment.

A wonderful movie.
A great musical with plenty of fun and songs. Esther Williams is beautiful and funny. The music andcolor make this a great film. Outstanding cast of players. One other point, I met Frank Sinatra back in the 50;s & we both had the same birthday (ADec12th)

Cute movie
Gene Kelly is my favorite actor and this was my first time watching something other than signing in the rain. Plus Ester Williams is good in this film as well.

I love classic movie musicals. This is a perfect example of one of them starring Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. They are perfect together.

Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra star as two baseball players who act in vaudeville in the off-season. Esther Williams is the (unexpected) new owner of the team whose presence throws them for a loop.The story has enough twists to keep you interested, and there is a good mixture of romance and fun. The singing and dancing is excellent; technically perfect and with a light and likeable touch. Overall this is a movie that will make you happy and I cannot recommend it highly enough if you are looking for 90 minutes of pleasant and skillful escapism.

Frank and Gene are always good together, maybe “OnThe Town” is their best but this comes pretty close. It’s funny, it is filled with good songs and great dancing and Esther Williams and Betty Garrett make great partners for the two stars. This is a U.S. import (Region1), delivery was quick and all in all, spot on!
