    Helpful Intro To An Exercise Routine
    Strength Training For Seniors is a nifty introduction to a fitness routine. The introduction explains why strength training is important. There are separate sections of equipment and safety, nutrition and muscle recovery, and maintaining a routine.Each exercise has a small but clear illustration of how to perform the exercise.While written for seniors, I think people who travel for work would get a lot from the book too. Often on business trips there is little time for self-care coupled with a ton of stress. This is a quiet way to work through a routine and unwind, no matter where you are in life.A good companion.

    Great beginners guide to strength training over 60
    I really enjoyed this book. I like that it began by explaining the basics, including the importance and benefits of strength training as you age, the safety guidelines, and even nutrition. Then it went into specific exercises for strengthening certain parts of the body and gave good detail for each exercise. It even had a 28 day challenge for people to get started slow. I think any senior and really any beginner at exercising would benefit from reading this book.

    This book had great intro exercises for beginners and nice 28 day plan that implements each exercise slowly. As a way over 60 athlete, I think the beginning mindset and action to get started feels doable in this guide. I do thnk it would value greatly from modifications of each exercise as everybodies bodies are different in strength or may have injuries. Perfect for those that are not active to feel accomplished each day with simple exercises that promote the beginning of form and technique necessary for safe strength training.
