$24.99
The land in this mysterious continent regularly shifts, twists, and reforms itself, making any attempt at mapping it obsolete. The only way one can master Alula is by walking it time and time again to make one’s own atlas. Travel this ever changing-world, meet its inhabitants, and gain more Fame than your competitors. Over the course of the game you will play a row of 8 cards in front of you from left to right. These cards represent the Regions you will come across while exploring the lands. Characters on these cards will grant you Fame if you later fulfill the conditions they demand. However at the end of the game, you walk back the way you just explored, scoring cards in the opposite order you played them. The player with the most Fame after scoring Regions and Sanctuaries wins!
EXPLORE MYSTERIOUS ALULA: Navigate the ever-changing landscapes of Alula, where the land twists and reforms, offering a unique gaming experience.
STRATEGIC REGION BUILDING: Play a row of 8 cards representing Regions to explore, each with characters granting Fame for fulfilling conditions.

Best card game of 2024? Yes.
Most who have played this agree that it is something of a revolution. Play your card left to right BUT score then right to left. HUH?! So counterintuitive but AMAZING! Many top ten game lists have this at the top. So easy to learn, fast to the table, and quick enough to play several games in under 30 minutes. This will quickly become your go-to game. Amazingly, this is as much fun playing solo (same rules as multiplayer) as it is playing at all player counts. Give this one a try, you will be glad that you did.

Great Game!
Highly recommend this game. We played a lot three person over Christmas. Game is quick but has some good depth and interesting choices.

Likely game of the year.
We initially bought this at a game store in Edinburgh, Scotland where it was being played by young people and the owner recommended we try it. Brought it back to the US, used it in our game group, easy to learn, novel design and game play, for2 to 5 or maybe more. Our copy got absorbed into the group so we got a new copy from Amazon, arrived promptly and continue to play it in rotation with other games. A French game designer, with on-line demonstrations in French or English, so check it out.

Great fast playing game that is enjoyable from 2-6
I am a huge fan of this game would say that learning how the scoring works is the hardest part of the game, but have found that setting out a set and going this is how this will score to be the best way. Would say at times this feels pretty multiplayer solitaire since I don’t think what the next set of cards that I get impacts my choice of playing card this round but hey that might be why I have lost so much in it. Will say that without the 5 choose 3 at the start can sometimes just get punted out of the game but hey for a game so quick to setup and play not as big of an issue

Fun
We really enjoy this game! Itâs good for just two people to play or more people as well. It was pretty easy to learn. The more you play it the better you can strategize which cards to select and play. The theme of this game is unique, and the materials are of good quality. Itâs a small box and simple game to set up, which is nice. Would recommend!
