Beautiful, emotional, sexy, and joyous, and I loved reading every word of it!!!
*This review is based on the ARC version which I received in exchange for my honest review. I’ve purchased a final copy for my personal library. Thoughts and opinions are my own.As soon as the ARC of My Kind of Forever landed in my in-box, I forgot all about my book club book, I dropped my current read, and loaded it to my phone while waiting for the elevator to leave from work. I stopped to read in the hallway on my way out to my car. That is how much I wanted to read this book. I made it out to the car and read the first chapter and started the second before leaving the parking lot. Nothing else mattered when I re-entered Beaumont and lives of Liam and Josie and my life was put on pause until I finished reading My Kind of Forever. It was beautiful, emotional, sexy, and joyous, and I loved reading every word of it.My Kind of Forever really messed with my head and my heart. Of all the storylines of The Beaumont Series, Liam and Josie’s second chance at love has always been my favorite. I’ve loved reading about them in My Unexpected Forever and Finding My Forever and the influences they’ve had on Harrison and Katelyn and Jimmy and Jenna’s relationships, but I needed to know how they were making it work after the years they spent apart. In My Kind of Forever, we finally get to know what’s going on in their marriage from the inside. We see them trying to make it work. The love is there, but is it enough? Will the pain of the past overshadow their now and their future? There were a few times when I was brought to tears over what Liam and Josie were struggling with in their marriage and with their family. One scene in particular crushed me. It was something that I identified with on a personal level and could understand the strain that it put on their marriage and their life together. I was heartbroken along with them and felt connected to their pain. I mean I really felt it.I was EXTREMELY happy to get more of Nick and Aubrey’s story. I fell in love with Aubrey in My Everything and hoped to get more of her in the Beaumont series. There really wasn’t a reason for Nick and Aubrey to have a prevalent part in the other books, but they re-emerge and I love where Heidi took the story with these characters and their involvement in Noah’s life. I would’ve liked even more Aubrey, but I will take what I can get.I’ve been a fan of this series from the very beginning and have loved each and every book. I often worry when a series continues on into the fourth and fifth installments that the story won’t hold up and will diminish what I originally loved about the books. Fortunately, this is not the case as Heidi continuously raised the bar. Heidi McLaughlin has truly given readers a lovely, crafted finale to The Beaumont Series with My Kind of Forever. Fans will adore My Kind of Forever and fall in love with the couple who started it all all over again.

My Kind of Series! ❤️❤️❤️ What an end and what a series!
First of all, knowing this book was the very last book I would be getting for the Beaumont series made reading this all that more special. I didn’t know what to expect and what more conflict and trials lay ahead for Liam and Josie. I may have even been a bit hesitant and afraid to see one of my favorite couples, who are so solid in subsequent Beaumont books as they helped their friends get through their own ordeals, face new challenges as they already went through a lot to be together.Well, what I learned was to never ever underestimate the author as she surely crams, yet wonderfully paces, a whole lot of new and realistic challenges of married couples from topics such as infertility, balancing family and work/career, trust, money issues etc with an added on stress of having Liam’s fame and past cast a spotlight on them with constant media and public opinion based on mostly half truths and lies. The author does not hold back on conflict and high emotions and Liam and Josie go through quite an emotional ride of ups and downs and twists and turns (some I didn’t even see coming) which only make them that much stronger in the end and proof that they are the ultimate couple and soulmates. The way the author also ties and brings back past characters and storylines from previous books back in this book is nothing but brilliant and full circle. Fans of the Beaumont series, you sure are in for a treat once again as we catch up and then say goodbye for now to a series and characters we have grown to love that will remain in my heart forever. What an end and what a series!

Definitely not a smooth ride for these two in this book.
Liam and Josie find themselves at crossroads several times during this book. Liam realizes that his band mates and their livelihoods require them to go to LA and get themselves back out in the mainstream. Josie is taken aback when Liam proposes that he needs to go back to the place that causes her the most pain and also realizes that she has trust issues with Liam. Liam did not always make the best choices throughout this book and was kind of selfish throughout it. Josie would read or see something upsetting and then Liam would turn it around to where he made her feel she was being ridiculous. Their lack of communication was appalling, especially a couple of times during this book. Both of them acted immature at times and for being parents of a 12 year old that got old. Josie needed to be able to buy the past hurt and Liam needed to acknowledge that he did indeed cause a lot of pain and heartache to Josie. Brushing it under the rug wasn’t going to work and it almost imploded their marriage. Heidi McLaughlin did a good job tying it all together and making their resolution believable. The ending was great and a good finish to this entire series.

Oh God! Now I can’t pick my favorite book from this serie. I like them all. I was shocked with everything that happened in the story. I like Liam as a father of a newborn. Before starting this book, I read a coomment that when you start you can’t stop reading till the end, and that was so true. This book is about how Liam’s past tested Jossie’s and Liam’s marriage.

I first read Forever My Girl and fell in love with Liam and Josie. Now we’ve full circled back Liam as dad to Noah and him struggling to balance parenting, being a good husband and his band and he has to make some tough decisions. I really enjoyed all the twist and surprises along the way. This book was fantastic. It made me happy, sad, etc… Filled with so many emotion. I’m so glad everything ended with a HEA. Great series and cannot wait for the Kids to get their stories. Secretly hoping Noah and Peyton end up together!!!!!!

Reading My Kind of Forever, and then having to formulate my thoughts into a review has got to be one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. This series has just blew me away with each installment, and while I wanted to dive right in, devour the story and be finished in record time, I made this one last. I really did not want this book, or this series to come to an end.As I write this review it is so hard to keep it spoiler free and I hope, I do not only the book, but the author, Heidi McLaughlin, justice with it, so apologies for vagueness. What a great first paragraph. I was giddy with excitement reading it, but then as the chapter progressed something was thrown into the mix to make me go back and read it all again, just to make sure I hadn’t missed out on an important bit due to my excitement. As the story progresses we definitely see Noah in a different light, he’s older and not so happy with parental displays of affection, for him and for each other. This new change is something he is not happy about, and feels like this is a change for Liam and Josie to have a chance at something Noah didn’t have.4225 West are failing, they are losing sales, popularity, and money. They have to go back to LA to not only help and old friend out, but also get themselves back in the spotlight, but this only brings up bad memories for Josie, of Liam leaving her and not coming back. This was emotional to read, I know the history of this break up, who was at fault, and what happened. But with everything going on Josie is unable to go with Liam, she is stuck at home due to other commitments and is finding it hard to deal with the publicity surround Liam and an upcoming book. But it also gives Josie the chance to step back and think about her relationship with Liam, and what it could have been like if he had stayed with her.He gave me the opportunity to grow up and find the me I needed to be without him guiding our path. It just sucks how it all happened.Just when we thought Sam was out the picture, she back with a vengeance, this time in a tell all book, taken from her diary, that is being published by a journalist. It holds every secret, every singe thing that went on between Sam and Liam, s*** is about to hit the fan, and it won’t be pretty at all. I really want the slap the journalist that thought ti would be a good idea to publish this book. To add to the mixture, Mr Moreno is back, determined he is going to make some money off the band, or off the members individually. Is Liam strong enough to fight a war from both sides whilst keeping the band together and his wife happy.Liam and Josie have already had a lot to deal with, and they do not need the past flung in thier face. With Liam in LA helping out an old friend, it’s Josie who see’s the book first, and all her old fears and hurt comes back to haunt her. To make matters worse, when she goes to confront Liam about it, she is met with his past, and his present, all presented neatly on stage for her.One thing I love about My Kind of Forever were the alternate chapters that give Liam a glimpse into his life if he has of stayed with Josie when she was pregnant with Noah. He gets to see what his career, his life, and his future would have looked like, and it’s not exactly a bed of roses. But this also makes him truly grateful for what he has and the decisions he made, it also helps them compromise on the future of 4225 West, and the future of thier family.Final VerdictWhat a sad, but amazing end to this series. I am sad to see this series end, but My Kind of Forever ensures it goes out with a bang. You don’t want to miss this finale.

An absolutely awesome way to end this series I loved all the books in this series but always had a soft spot for Josie and Liam. We get to know what the rest of 4225 West are up to and we find out a little more about Liam’s mum and dad and what happened with them. There are defiantly some tear jerking moments in this book. A must read because you can never go wrong with a Heidi McLaughlin book
