    LOVE!!!! Awesome, creative, simple recipes, great photography & stories.
    I’ve been waiting for this cookbook, as I live in the Pacific NW too & recognize many of Adam’s photos. I love it even more than I imagined. Such creative recipes with simple ingredients. Most recipes only require a handful of ingredients. I love the layout of the book & the stories & advice & info. I’m planning to buy it as a gift for all my asventurist/foodie friends. Adam thank you for including Brigadeiros! A simple, classic Brazilian dessert we grew up eating. I’m most excited to try the Shakshuka, omelette in a jar, garlic herb flatbread, carnitas tacos, chilaquiles, mama’s chicken & dumplings, braised beef camp ramen, and Brussel sprouts & bacon. Soooo many amazing recipes, I definitely plan to cook my way through this book! Thanks Adam!!! ❤️

    Mix of Art, Imagination, and Tex!
    I’ve had the distinct pleasure to have met Adam at an overland expo. He is a humble and great human being. Naturally, I wanted to support him and order his cookbook. Holy explicative. The artistry of this cookbook and the recipes are great. This is the way cookbooks should be. Incredibly well thought out, with amazing pictures and illustrations. Also, what cookbook places Tex as a central model!? Adam is both creative, passionate, and a master of his craft. I’m excited he combined his passion with camping/overlanding, as these recipes have inspired me… Pre-made omelets, why Yes… Group loved it while we explored the mountains of Oregon!

    Interesting, Creative Recipes
    I was in the fence about getting this cookbook but I’m so glad I did. Creative recipes with beautiful photos. Adam does a great job of explaining the necessary tools to take things on the road with a minimalistic approach. “Less is more” is a fantastic mantra to apply to my cooking skills. I own hundreds of cookbooks but I am truly enjoying this one.

    Everything I wanted and more!I’ve loved following him on Instagram! Literally the best page to follow on there. Always such light and inspiration! Giving you an inside peek at what life can look like without over complicating it. He has powerful recipes, let alone wisdom that lights your fire. Both for your mind, heart and skillet! You cannot see this man and not feel inspired! It’s like he’s holding beauty and says “you can have a seat at my table, but do you know that you can have this by your own hands too? stop imagining, make it happen. I’ll show you.” And his cook book isn’t any less than his page following! It’s beautiful, easy to understand – absolutely one of a kind and I just cannot say enough. I want to support this man, this energy, this spirit & heart. When he called the book what he did – he named it right! Live Free Eat well – all I can say is AMEN! If you want soul feeling flavor food. You want this book! Geeeeeet it! Oh! And go follow his page if you haven’t already!!!

    Beautiful book
    As a former culinary professional and PNW organic farmer this book speaks to me! I bought this book mainly as inspiration. I am pleased to see that the techniques included are spot on. I would recommend this to people who don’t already have a pro knowledge base to work from. The instructions are clear and the recipes are practical. The book as a whole definitely has a nomadic outdoorsy culinary vibe. Which happens is my favorite vibe! The best food is enjoyed in beautiful places close to the natural world it grew from.

    Step up your camp cooking
    I got this on pre-order and used it on over a dozen camping trips so far this year. Before it, camp food was an afterthought and the default was usually processed junk food. This book (along with a Dutch oven, tripod, and a good set of travel knives) has helped me develop a core set of healthier recipes to fall back on. Adam does a great job of covering new techniques and emphasizes using what you have available rather than just buying a bunch of ingredients specifically for one meal.

    Best cookbook for the PNW
    I bought this for my husband as a partial wedding gift. We both loved watching Below Deck and enjoyed Adams style and what had to teach about cooking. We have made a few different recipes out of this book and will continue to do so. We love the Butternut Squash Bisque and the Apple Bowl recipe. Thank you for representing the PNW Adam! And yes everything is better with onions 🙂

    This cook book is huge! It has tons of recipes that are simple and easy to follow but delicious. The ingredients needed are things that are easy to find. I got it for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! Great for any outdoor food enthusiasts!

    Wow, what can I say, I’ve been following Adam a long time, and I loved all his videos. Reading his book for the first time I didn’t realise just how hard he worked, doing all this book himself, the photography, recipes etc. The book is beautiful to look at, the introduction is fascinating and you learn so much about prepping food.Then onto the recipes I love how they are packed with flavour yet really wholesome good food. I’m beyond excited to start getting out and cooking these. I love to cook with my kids outdoors so this book is perfect. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to be inspired and get some new skills under their belt!
