I have the other two beautiful books by Mark Sikes. All three are fabulous! They give great inspiration and ideas for making a beautiful home. They also look wonderful displayed with blue and white vases or jars on top!

Fabulous, Beautiful Book
Mark D. Sykes has done it again! This book is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring. I love the organization by month. The different locations, the attention to the smallest details which make all the difference in an overall look. The photos are stunning. If you love an interesting mix of color, antiques and contemporary pieces and design styles blended to create a classic look, this book is for you! Love it!

Touchâs my soul with the many ways to decorate with many shades of blue
What a well made book on how to express love of nature in the color blue of the ocean and sky. Earth tones also used as the seasons change. Nature has the very best color combinations inside and out.Arrangement details in all things are the most beautiful.

Mark Sikes is my favorite designer of all time. This book, like his previous books, tells the story of timeless accessible design. Less blue a white, and more daring colors. Totally classic. There are some really innovative ideas here, like the way they designed a runner for an unusual staircase. So many lovely details. Iâm reading slowly to make it last.

Very nice
It is a beautiful book, although as someone living in the North I would have liked more of a true linking to the seasons. January and February were all done in warm climates and December felt a bit formulaic. October was also blah and lacking the cozy feeling.Despite the criticism, overall it is a nice book and well photographed

Did the previous review seriously call Mark Sikes basic?
I got Markâs new book this morning, and I love it! The previous review called it âbasicâ (seriously?!?!?), but I would call it âaccessible.â Everything is gorgeous but more understated than previous books, so you could do many of these designs in a normal house without your neighbors thinking you had lost your mind, lol! And I think I already spotted at least one pic of Reese Witherspoonâs house (just dreamy). Thank you for another beautiful book, Mark! I havenât read the words yet, but Iâm sure theyâre great too. Some of my fav pics are attached, but there are SO MANY MORE!

pretty basic designs
Half the book is really boring and looks like a home goods ad or something. There are a few interesting pages and I like how the book is laid out with each season representated. But it’s overall just “eh” to me. It also feels kind of dated but not in a good way.

The other books in this series are much better. This looks and feels rather dreary as the photography is not great. Some of the designs genuinely look awfully dated. I think this is a good time for this series of books to endâ¦
