Chase Our Forever: A Sutten Mountain Standalone
$0.00
Dean Livingston needs a new live-in nanny, and I need a safe place to stay.
I’d been running from my past when I stumbled into the small town of Sutten Mountain, tired and alone. That’s where I met a broken single dad and his adorable daughter.
Dean has more money than he could ever spend but couldn’t keep a nanny. After firing every eligible candidate in town, he was desperate for help. So when his daughter fell in love with me after one brief meeting, I instantly became perfect for the job.
The arrangement was always meant to be temporary, but seeing Dean start to heal and open up makes me want to stay. Seeing how happy his daughter is makes me feel like I belong here.
Now, I’m slowly falling for the town of Sutten—and my boss.
I know better than to open myself back up and give my heart to a man who swore he’d never love again. But maybe with enough time, we can stop fighting our feelings long enough to fight for the family we’ve created. Maybe we can run toward each other for once and chase our forever.
Chase Our Forever is a small-town, single dad, billionaire, age-gap romance, and the third book set in the fictional town of Sutten Mountain. It is a complete standalone.

Sweet, spicy, & heartfelt. Kat got me again!
Kat’s book never disappoint! It’s another 5âï¸ read for me! I am sad that Sutten Mountain is over, though.Dean is an amazing person, even though he is not the same happy person he was before his wife tragically passed away. He loves his family and friends with everything he has, and will do anything to help them (as we witnessed in Tempt Our Fate when he was trying to help Pippa keep Wake and Bake). He loves fiercely, but not fearlessly.Liv is just really starting to live her life after fleeing her home in Florida to get away from her crappy past. She decides to stop in Sutten Mountain on her road trip she is taking, trying to find her place in life. While in Sutten Mountain she makes new friends, including Clara, Dean’s daughter. This new friendship leads to her becoming Clara’s nanny, which was very unexpected. With Liv & Dean living in the same house, and both loving Clara, they form a friendship. That friendship quickly becomes more, even though they are both scared, for very different reasons. The tension and love these two have is amazing. And we get some spice ð¶ï¸ð¶ï¸ which Kat always puts in to her books â¤ï¸.I loved this book and the entire series. I also love that Sutten Mountain and Black Tie Billionaires crossover a little bit and we see some of our most beloved characters from both series sprinkled throughout. Kat always gives a fun, spicy, and heartfelt story to us, and I love to read anything she writes.

4.5 stars!
I loved this book! I especially loved the epilogue and the bonus scene/epilogue. Dean & Liv are absolutely perfect for each other! This book was so cute! There was a LOT of found family vibes and small town vibes. They helped each other through things they were trying to heal from, and developed a true connection before they finally gave into the chemistry between them. This was a slow burn, but worth the wait! The ending of this book actually made me add a star. It was absolutely perfect! I love when the ending of a book doesnât leave me wanting more. I was satisfied with how the book ended and am sad that I finished it! It was a beautiful story about love, overcoming trauma and grief, family, and community. Well done! I love Kat Singleton books!

Nice, sweet, well written romance with HEA
This was a nice love after loss story! I’ve read a lot of books with the same kind of story line so am kind of an expert: if there are experts in the field of escapist romance single rich dad meets down on their luck wanderer book reading lol. The book is well written without a bunch of distracting grammar errors or missing words. The MC doesn’t take a crazy long time to come around and his hold up is more about not wanting to open himself up to the hurt of loss instead of the premis of some stories where they think it’ll be a betrayal of their first love, which I’m never crazy about in a story as it makes the new love start off with a “less than” feel. The daughter is cute with just the right amount of sass! Definitely lovable, believable, and well written for her age (unlike some I’ve read where the author tries to make the child too precocious and knowing which comes off as fake and forced). The FC is sweet but real, loving but not a pushover. She doesn’t come from money and is willing to provide for herself, but doesn’t get so caught up in her pride over money that she can’t accept gifts, and his financial status vs hers isn’t brought up as a big deal or barrier for either of them. Their dialog flows really well and isn’t forced or cringe. The love scenes are spicy but not crude, and their physical attractions don’t dominate the story and are a byproduct of their feelings and relationship, not the reason for it like some insta-lust-all-they-think-about stories (not hating on those stories, I like them fine on occasion, just saying this isn’t that and is more of a romance than lust-mance). This was the first book by this author that I’ve read, i skipped to this one as i liked the excerpt from a FB add, but I’ll definitely be reading more of her work and going back to read the other books in the series. It genuinely earned the 5 stars I give out sparingly!

it was cute
– small town- single dad- nanny- rich MMC- autumn/winter vibes- âGrumpyâ/sunshineSpice: low but present. There are like 2-3 intimate scenes that are written in detail but theyâre not really THAT graphic and are more uh⦠intimate than spicy. Iâm not sure how else to phrase it hahaOverall I did enjoy this book, it was a cute read. The MMC is âgrumpyâ but that grumpiness doesnât really last because itâs more so just not feeling like he deserves happiness and he isnât really grumpy with those he is close with. The 3 year old sometimes seemed to act/talk closer to a 5/6 year old and there were a few super cheesy moments, but itâs a good book to just melt into and not think too hard.

I was really excited to read this book, first because the previous one is on my favorites list, and second, because I love Kat Singleton’s writing. But I have to admit, I had mixed feelings about this one.In this book, we finally get to understand everything Dean feels and how the events of the past affected him. I loved seeing him open up to Liv. Watching him find comfort in her was so heartwarming, and Liv is such a likable character. I loved every scene with her and Clara.Even though I really liked Liv and Dean together, I felt the beginning of the book was a bit rushed, which made it take me a little longer to really get into the story. But once I did, I fell in love with the characters. Itâs not my favorite, but itâs still a good book, and as for me thinking it was rushed, thatâs just my opinionâother readers might not feel the same.

Loved Dean and Liv’s story.Deans back story was so sad and I choked up alot through it. Beautifully written, the emotions that came through from the characters felt so real at times.Although parts of it were predictable especially closer to the end I still thoroughly enjoyed reading their journey and I’m so glad they got their perfect HEA.

ð¤ Chase Our Forever by Kat Singleton ð¤Book 3 in the Sutton Mountain series- Small town- Single dad- Nanny- Grumpy x Sunshine⨠Sheâs my sunshine on a cloudy day, and I hadnât realized how much I missed the sunshine. How much I really needed it… until her.Review ð:Liv is escaping from her bad past when she ends up in the small town of Sutton Mountain, then one thing leads to another and she ends up being a nanny for Deanâs three-year-old daughter. Dean lost his wife unexpectedly when his daughter was a newborn so over the past few years heâs been overcome with grief and raising his child. I was completely consumed by this book itâs such a beautiful journey of opening up, healing and letting love back into your life. One of the things I loved most about it was there was no miscommunication at all between Liv and Dean they are both very open and honest about their feelings and thoughts, it was so refreshing and made me adore them even more. You could cut the tension between them with a knife! It was so angsty, the steamy scenes were steaming hot. Deanâs daughter, Clara is so adorable, the dynamic between all three of them was so perfect! Chase our forever is definitely my favourite in the series (so far ð) I adore this series so much.5/5 âï¸

Kat does it again!Chase Our Forever rounded out the Sutten Mountain series perfectly.Like most of Kat’s books, we had emotion, laughter, hot spice and so much more. This story was truly sweet and I loved seeing these two characters find each other in the most unlikely of circumstances.Dean is trying to navigate loss and being a single father, while Liv is trying to navigate and plan a new life far away from her past. By chance they meet and by an even bigger chance Liv starts being Dean’s daughters Nanny. Liv isn’t planning on staying forever but as we know, life likes to throw curve balls our way.I enjoyed this story and found it easy to read. It never felt like a slow burn because it was like their feelings for each other were instant and I enjoyed that it didn’t beat around the bush for too long.I can’t wait to see what Kat has planned next!

Running away from her hometown of Florida, Liv drives into Sutton Mountain for a short stop that quickly results in her falling in love with the baked goods at Wake and Bake and finding herself a job as a live-in nanny to Clara; 3year old daughter of widowed father Dean Livingstone. Dean is rich, broody and sexy – a combination that Liv cannot resist! The found family bonding and semi slow burn relationship building was really good and I love the small town vibes. The only thing I can fault is that I felt like there could have been a little more backstory of Livâs⦠what was given was briefly skimmed over which I felt lacked certain depth to make her leaving Florida such a big life choice (just my opinion). I still really enjoyed it and a great way to finish off the Sutton Mountain series
