Hello everyone!
I have always wanted to tell stories and somehow – miraculously! I have found myself lucky enough to explore the lives of others in my novels. All of them are set in the part of Ireland where I live – beautiful south Dublin from Dun Laoghaire to the villages of Sandycove and Dalkey. They are bustling communities, full of characters and houses facing the sea.
My characters are women struggling to make a life that works for them. As we know, life is rarely plain sailing and I will always deal with the more challenging situations – the kind that have the power to force us to change tack but ultimately the kind we learn and grow from.
Balanced with that is buckets of Irish charm and humour because none of us can survive without having a bit of fun. There is always a love story but it has to be the very best kind, the one worth waiting for, that you barely dared to dream about.
I really hope you enjoy my books and I am thrilled with how many people seem to enjoy them.
Lots of love Siân xxx

Thoroughly Enjoyable!
Do not miss an opportunity to read this lovely, heartwarming story! So happy that I stumbled upon this author, and I canât wait to download some more. Beautifully developed characters, a believable plot, and a wonderful writing style. The chapter about the long awaited theater presentation had me laughing so loud that I was crying…… (this would be a fantastic movie scene). Just love it when I find a new author to explore…….this was surely a memorable reading experience!

Heartwarming and very sweetly written!
This book is almost a manual on grieving but also on the meaning of true love. I felt I knew Joanna so well by the end.
by P. Didur
Syrupy and Repetitive Last Chapters
I really like O’Gorman as an author, but this book got very syrupy and repetitive and heavy-handed in the last few chapters. The loss theme of the book took over. I didn’t enjoy the book from 3/4 through on. There were lots of other parts of the storyline the author could have explored. The character got so self-involved that it was hard to take.

what a beautiful, stunning story
Tears, tears, tearsâ¦of grief, of joy, gratitude and hope. This one gets it right. Plus, itâs funny. The perfect story.

Reliable good reading
I have now read all the books by this author. Every book has remarkably different challenges. She consistently uses low key humor, and a kaleidoscope of characters. She also chooses interesting and unusual names for her characters which makes it easy to stay on track. I regret I have no more books to read by this author.

Loved this!!
Oh, this book lifted me so much! Heartbreak turned into triumph! And the wonderful people of Ireland; I never get tired of reading about them! I want to go there so badly now, seriously. And the play that Jo is in; I haven’t laughed that hard in years. I don’t think it was meant to be funny, but I had to keep wiping my eyes. I don’t even laugh at comedians! I am now following this author and will always read whatever she writes. She’s definitely in my top ten!

Friendships
Lovely engaging read about the friendships and relationships in life. Jo and her husband had a falling out over the loss of a child through not communicating and each lost in their own grief. Jo’s friends, her Mum and her Mum’s friendships. Life in all its shapes and forms. Engaging characters.
by Mrs. P. A. Mahood
I loved this book – not just because I grew up in dun laoghaire! The characters are believable and complex. I cried and laughed. The sense of community came across, the small (but , yes so true) snobberies of Marietta, the warmth of the am- dram group, FroRo and his thoughtfulness and fun. I wasnât sure of the ending until the end which I like.I will read more of Siamâs books.

What a beautifully written story about love, loss and realisation of what you actually have in life.Gorgeous believable characters and with a good bit of humour thrown into the mix of this remarkable tale, the story just takes you in and makes you part of it.A beautiful part of Ireland for the plot setting and all else you need is to get settled with tea and bikkies and just read.

I felt the focus on Oscar was to much. Apart from that I loved it. O to the next one now
by Lesley Short
A story about a normal family faced with a sad and difficult situation. Life is not always smooth and facing adversity is always a problem. With the best intentions good people make mistakes but we can learn from them.
