Excellent variation of core building exercises
The cards are great – visuals on the front, written description on the back. I’m reasonably fit for my age group and was impressed to feel a reawakened core even from the sitting exercises. I’m glad I bought the set!

Good for seniors
This book provides a range of exercises for seniors who wish to work out at home and don’t have a home gym. It will help them to strengthen core muscles that affect posture, balance and everyday activities. The exercise instructions and illustrations are not intimidating for those who are older and out of shape. I accompanied a 90-something to a physical therapy session a few times and many of these exercises were similar to what I saw there. It’s not for a 60-something who is active and strong, nor is it supposed to be. A good book for its intended audience in my opinion.

not bad
I like the size of the font in this book. Itâs a easier to read the most books and perfect for people. They canât read small print.

Good exercises for beginners
I decided I needed to do core exercises, and looked for something that would be easy to understand. The book is divided into various groups, starting with chair exercises. There are diagrams and instructions for body placement and how to breathe during the exercises. You are encouraged to go at your own pace. So far I’ve gone through the seated and standing exercises, and have found them to be just challenging enough to get my heart rate going and not overwhelming so that I’m discouraged from continuing. I’ve been doing them for 2 weeks.

I found the illustrations odd
I purchased 4 different books to help reboot my fitness journey. I plan on returning this one. The text is legible and I can understand it. Oddly enough I have a challenge with the illustrations. The depictions of the seniors is great, nobody is left behind. Unfortunately they are busy in a greeting card kind of way, very colorful and less than what I would consider 3D. I understand why so many people like the illustrations but I have found other types work better for me. Just a personal preference I guess.

Only just started trying some of these exercises but really impressed at the explanation of each move, and itâs simplicity and yet already I can feel their effects. Definitely aimed correctly at its target audience:

Love the illustrations!! The descriptions are also very good and I have actually done them a time or two (chuckle) and I do like that there is also a condensed part with all the exercises together for ease of viewing. Colours are great, quality of paper and cover VG, would definitely recommend. I am senior (73) who has not kept moving as well as I ought, so this is a welcome resource for me!

The book is easy to read and the instructions are easy to follow. Pictures show the true form! I would recommend this to anyone at any age to start doing exercises with mobility issues!
