Kesar India Limited becomes 381st company to get listed on BSE SME Platform


Kesar India Limited became the 381st company to get listed on the BSE SME Platform on July 12, 2022, as statement by BSE said.

Kesar India Limited came out with an initial public offering of 930,400 Equity Shares of Rs.10 Each (“Equity Shares”) for cash at a Price of Rs. 170 per equity share (The “Offer Price”), aggregating to Rs. 15.82 crore. The company has successfully completed its public issue on July 04, 2022. 

Mumbai based FEDEX SECURITIES PRIVATE LIMITED and HEM SECURITIES LIMITED, was the lead managers to Kesar India Limited.

-The company engaged in the business of developing and constructing residential and commercial projects, industrial buildings, factory buildings, workshop buildings, etc. 

So far, 147 companies have migrated to the main board. The 380 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs.4,047.69 crore from the market and total market capitalization of 380 companies as on July 11, 2022 is Rs. 51,200.20 Crore. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 61 percent. 

SEBI came out with detailed guidelines on 18th May 2010 for launching of SME Exchange/Platform. 

BSE became the first stock exchange to get the approval from SEBI and launch its SME platform on 13th March 2012.
