Beauty brand Mamaearth announced a partnership with quick-commerce platform Zepto to plant one tree for every Mamaearth product ordered through the Zepto app. This initiative, launched on January 3, 2025, combines Zepto’s 10-minute delivery service with Mamaearth’s environmental commitment.
The shares of Honasa Consumer Limited were trading at ₹253.40 up by ₹3.30 or 1.32 per cent on the NSE today at 11.25 am.
The campaign includes a promotional film highlighting New Year’s resolutions and childhood memories of tree planting. Anuja Mishra, EVP & Chief Marketing Officer at Honasa Consumer Limited, stated that the campaign extends the brand’s “Goodness Inside” philosophy while promoting sustainability.
Mamaearth, founded by Ghazal and Varun Alagh, has already planted over 800,000 trees across India since 2020 through its Plant Goodness initiative, which previously covered orders placed on its website and mobile application. The brand has built a portfolio of 200+ personal care products and serves over 5 million customers across 500 Indian cities.
Zepto, established in 2021 by Stanford dropouts Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra, delivers over 25,000 products through its network of delivery hubs. The campaign will be promoted across digital platforms for a limited time, though the specific duration was not disclosed in the announcement.
