The shares of Easy Trip Planners Limited were trading at ₹15.94 down by ₹1.10 or 6.46 per cent on the NSE today at 11.11 am.
Online travel platform EaseMyTrip has expanded its offline presence by launching its 24th franchise store in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, as part of its nationwide expansion strategy. The store, located at Roshan Complex on Amlidih Main Road, opened on December 30, 2024.
The new outlet will offer comprehensive travel services, including domestic and international flight bookings, hotel accommodations, holiday packages, and bus and railway reservations. Additional services include luxury cruise bookings, visa assistance, and corporate travel solutions.
EaseMyTrip Co-Founder Rikant Pittie cited Raipur’s potential as an emerging travel hub as the key reason for choosing the location. The company aims to establish 100 franchise stores by the end of fiscal year 2025.
Listed on both NSE and BSE, EaseMyTrip has maintained profitability since its inception and has grown at a CAGR of 47 per cent in profits before tax during FY20-24. The company provides access to over 400 airlines and more than 2 million hotels worldwide through its platform, operating with a zero-convenience fee model for bookings.
The travel tech company currently maintains offices across major Indian cities including Noida, Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, along with international presence in seven countries including the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, UK, USA, and New Zealand.
