OLX India, an online classifieds platform, has entered into a partnership with online travel company EaseMyTrip to introduce travel booking services on its platform. The collaboration will integrate a new ‘Travel’ section on OLX, allowing its 35 million monthly active users to book flights, hotels, and holiday packages.
The shares of Easy Trip Planners Limited were trading at ₹16.59, up by ₹0.28 or 1.66 per cent on the NSE today at 1.03 pm.
Through this integration, OLX users will have access to EaseMyTrip’s travel services directly within the OLX platform interface. The partnership aims to offer exclusive deals and dedicated customer support for travel bookings.
Deepesh Jain, CBO (Non Autos) of OLX India, said the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy to expand beyond its traditional marketplace model. Rikant Pittie, Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, highlighted the partnership’s potential to reach customers in tier-2 and 3 cities where OLX has a strong market presence.
OLX India currently operates across 12 categories, including cars, bikes, and real estate, with over 30 million annual listings. EaseMyTrip, listed on NSE and BSE, has recorded 47 per cent CAGR in profits before tax. The travel platform provides access to over 400 airlines and 2+ million hotels, along with train and bus booking services.
