Bad motor?
Edit: Finally had time to give another review. Received a prompt replacement for the faulty dispenser I had previously purchased and I absolutely love, love, love it! Being able to change the coarseness of the peppercorn brings in a whole new level to any dish I make with this automatic dispenser. Not only does the texture adds to the flavoring of the dish, but it also makes certain dish aesthetically more appealing as well. ðð I 100% recommend this product!!Got this as a little gift for my s/o. When we had finally put it to use, we quickly realized the the black grinder wasn’t working as well as the white one. Thinking it was due to the contents inside, we switched the tops, but ended up with the same results-the black grinder was significantly slower than the white one. This was well past the return date. Kind of sad because this could’ve been perfect had we opened it up when it was delivered and realized the defect in time.

Gravity salt and pepper
I have purchased 8 sets of the gravity salt and pepper shakers with the wood look. They are very easy to use tip it upside down and it grinds the salt or pepper. They also work great for people with arthritis if they have issues with a regular salt and pepper grinder. I have 2 sets which I keep black pepper corns, white pepper corns, Celtic salt, Himalayan salt. The other 6 set I have given away as gifts and they all love thereâs itâs a great addition for the kitchen

I should have read the reviews
I love this automatic salt and pepper shakers. However, I am now back in search of a new salt shaker because ours stopped working recently. I didnât use the auto feature after the first few months of purchase because we still had some fine salt that we needed to use up before we purchased corse. Anyway, once we switched to auto it worked great for a few months but now it has completely stopped working. I was going to reorder from here (thinking the issue was user error) but now after reading other reviews the salt shaker seems to have a defect. Before it shut down it came apart a few times. It really seems to not be made well. Iâm going to order another from a different company and hopefully it lasts a while. Our pepper grinder is still going strong no complaints!I would give 3.5 stars if I could because I donât think it deserves 4 due to the issues with the salt shaker

Less than a year old and stopped working
I use the pepper mill frequently and the salt occasionally. But, now the salt mill won’t work at all, I’ve changed the batteries, cleaned it up, nothing. Unfortunately, I’m well out of the time to return, but be aware that there is a lack of longevity. Worked great before, a bit fast for the salt but definitely did its job. Very disappointed, and now I only have the pepper mill…

It basically functions well, except that it is quite tall and has a narrow base. Any contact will knock it over. Annoying. It might not work after it falls over because the batteries have been jolted out of contact. More annoying than a real problem. But it is a continuing issue due to the design

After reading several reviews and comparing with other similar items, this set suits me best.1. it’s single hand use so there is no need to remove any covers (like some other brands have) or if one hand is dirty from marinating, let’s say2. The capacity and bottle opening is large enough to refill without me plus it’s not made of glass so no worries of breaking it accidentally.3. The cable really is fast charging.4. Comes with a slim cleaning brush.Going to recommend to my family and friends.

I bought these for my new house. By the time I moved in and started using them the return window was closed but the salt shaker died on my after a couple days. Then it worked again for a day and then died again and I canât get it to work again.When they do work they are great but it would be nice to have both working.
