Avenue Supermarts (DMART IN) is projected to post 19% profit growth. Its shares rallied after it said third-quarter revenue grew 17%, easing concern about competition from the newly burgeoning quick commerce sector. Analysts at Motilal Oswal said the revenue figure implies more favorable unit economics at its supermarkets.

Q3 result live: CESC reported a fall

India’s CESC, a power generation and distribution company, reported a fall in third-quarter profit on Friday, due to higher tax expenses and lower regulatory income. The company’s consolidated profit fell 5.7% year-on-year to 2.65 billion rupees ($30.8 million) for the three months ended Dec. 31. Total tax expenses rose 27% to 800 million rupees.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) shares gained 6 per cent to hit an intraday high of ₹4,297 on Friday, following Q3 results and optimistic stance of brokerages.

The company’s net profit increased 5.5 per cent to ₹12,380 crore in the third quarter of FY 2024-25. It also declared a dividend of ₹76 per share, including a special dividend of ₹66.

IREDA share price live: Stock down amid market pressure, despite posting 27% growth in net profit

IREDA shares traded lower by 2.39% on the NSE at ₹210.92, amid market pressure. Company posted nearly 27 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 425.37 crore in December quarter, mainly on the back of higher revenues.

Revenue from operations grew 35.57 per cent to Rs 1,698.99 crore in the latest December quarter compared to Rs 1,253.20 crore in the third quarter of FY24, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Profit After Tax (PAT) or net profit recorded a 26.77 per cent rise in the reporting quarter to Rs 425.37 crore from Rs 335.54 crore in Q3 FY24, it said.

TCS Q3 results in focus: TCS misses Q3 revenue estimate – Reuters

Tata Consultancy Services , India’s largest software company, posted a smaller-than-expected third-quarter revenue on Thursday as clients pared tech spends on account of macro-economic uncertainty.

The company’s consolidated revenue increased 5.6% to 639.73 billion rupees ($7.45 billion) in the October-December quarter, falling short of analysts’ expectation of 644.52 billion rupees, as per data compiled by LSEG.
