Italian motorcycle maker Aprilia has unveiled the 2025 iterations of its entry-level RS125 and Tuono 125 models, featuring updated engines and fresh looks. While these bikes cater to the international market, particularly Europe, there’s no word yet on whether they will make their way to Indian showrooms.
2025 Aprilia RS 125, Tuono 125: What’s new
The biggest change lies in the engine department, with both motorcycles now equipped with Euro5+ compliant engines. The 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine continues to produce 15 bhp and 12 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Besides that, Aprilia has also introduced an optional quickshifter in certain regions.
Cosmetic updates are another highlight of the refreshed lineup. The RS125 is now available in Kingsnake White and Cyanide Yellow, while the Tuono 125 gets new Viper Yellow and Mamba Grey colour options.
Mechanically, the two motorcycles remain unchanged from their predecessors. They feature 17-inch wheels, USD front forks, and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, accompanied by ABS. Additionally, traction control comes as standard. Moreover, LED lighting and a fully digital LCD instrument cluster round off the package.
Although these updates bring the RS125 and Tuono 125 in line with global standards, Aprilia has no plans to launch these models in India due to pricing constraints. Currently, the most affordable Aprilia available in the Indian market is the RS457, which starts at Rs 4.10 lakh, ex-showroom.
