Tata Motors on Thursday said it has bagged an additional order for 148 electric buses from Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). This order follows an earlier order of 921 electric buses from BMTC, most of which have been delivered, the company said in a statement.

Bharti Airtel has prepaid ₹3,626 crore to the Department of Telecom clearing all its liabilities for spectrum it had acquired in 2016. With this, Airtel has now prepaid all its spectrum dues that had interest costs higher than 8.65 per cent. It has prepaid ₹28,320 crore in spectrum liabilities in this calendar year.

Hyundai Motor India on Thursday said it has re-appointed Unsoo Kim as the Managing Director for three years. The company’s board has approved and recommended re-appointment of Kim as the Managing Director for three years with effect from January 25, 2025, the automaker said in a regulatory filing. Kim joined Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea, in 1991 and has been associated with it since 2022.

Acme Solar on Thursday said it has commissioned a 1023 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan comprising four projects that were commissioned on Wednesday, the company said.

GE Vernova T&D India has received an order from Sterlite Grid 32 for supply and supervision of HV Equipment for a TBCB Project for more than ₹400 crore.
