Very Nice Leather Belt
I bought this belt to wear with jeans after my older belts had lost their shape and luster. This is very well- made belt with a buckle that is subdued. I can’t imagine someone saying ‘great belt’ as that usually never happens–unless there is something about a belt that commands unwanted attention. But people will think I’m well dressed (I’m hoping) because of this fine-looking belt. The picture online is fairly accurate in color.

Simple Thick Good Quality Belt
This is my second Fossil Carson Belt. My first was bought years and years ago at a local store, and has aged well. It has eventually developed a lot of character as all leather does with time, so it has been demoted to use for outdoor activities, weekend duty, etc. I recently saw the same belt on sale at Amazon so I ordered it immediately. Now I have a nice new one I can wear to work or for other more dressy occasions.The Carson is a wide plain belt, good for use with jeans or business-casual attire. The leather cover over the buckle is a nice accent, and keeps the buckle from clicking. Itâs a Fossil, so you know the leather is strong and of good quality.

Decent belts with good color, but dry leather
This is an OK belt. It’s not fantastic, but it is decent for an everyday men’s brown belt and it will probably last a few years.The belt’s color is a fairly neutral brown, so it goes with a variety of my brown shoes and boots. If anything, it’s a little on the red side of brown rather than the yellow/orange brown spectrum.I’m a little disappointed with the quality of the leather used in this belt. The unfinished back side started cracking immediately and it’s obvious that this is not high quality leather and is not conditioned in any way. The leather looks very dry. Fossil belts used to be made with nice, soft, high quality leather and this does not carry the qualities of Fossil belts I’ve seen from years ago. I haven’t tried conditioning it yet, but I plan on doing so to see if that softens up the leather a bit.I own this belt in both brown and cognac colors. The cognac one is 1 year older and it’s a bit softer from a year of wear, but it exhibits the same dry leather which is cracking. Both are, however, great colors and I think they look good with chinos and jeans and the right pair of brown shoes.Overall these are decent leather belts which will last a few years. With conditioning, they may last a lot longer than that. It’s not like they are going to fall apart after a few years, but I do wonder if they will develop a good patina or just get all crackly from the dry leather.

This belt is great quality. Sturdy, looks and feels great. Iâm not sure why Amazon asked for stretch, that seems like the opposite of what a belt should do. I gave that section one star, because it doesnât really stretch and thatâs preferred. Definitely worth the money.

HOW DURABLE IS THIS REAL LEATHER BELT
I’m old school, I like leather shoes and leather belts as opposed to synthetic materials. I grew up with them.Hence, I’m very discerning when it comes to leather products of today.I hope this belt last like my older belts
