A Good Watch Overall
Casio is a very popular brand of watches and an affordable one at that. I bought the Casio Illuminator Digital Sportswatch in light pink for both its aesthetic and its convenience. It cost me about $16 dollars and I use it nearly daily. I am sure I have only removed my watch before going to bed and when I shower, otherwise it is on my wrist ready to deliver me the time.The product itself fits around my wrist with ease as there are multiple points of adjustment. Unlike today’s smartwatches, this serves one purpose: to tell me the time. I can respect that sort of goal. It also has a timer and alarm feature that works well with its format. I seldom use the timer feature but the alarm alerts me whenever the hour changes, which I find good. There’s a setting to change to a 24hour clock, my preferred method of reading time.However, there are some issues with this watch in particular. Though these features may be implimented in different Casio models, I will only reference this particular watch. When setting up the time or the alarm, there is no option to go back in time if one were to, let’s say, accidentally set an alarm one hour after their preferred time. One would have the click the button several more times to get back to where you started and god must hate you if you skip past it again in your haste. Another worth noting is that the button to change the hour/minutes is the same as the light button, meaning it flashes every time one presses down again. It is a mild grievance but one I do not enjoy. Speaking of the flash, it only lights for as long as you press it. It would’ve been better if it were a toggle with an internal timer to turn off after a couple of seconds or minutes rather than immediately turning off.However, these are mild things and I enjoy the product very much. I am sure that the features I have listed are not unique and are put into more expensive, high-end digital watches. For $16, it is a good, affordable watch that provides value to the consumer. I’d give it an A.

Practical and Functional Watch
The Casio Illuminator is a great watch for everyday use. I love its classic design, and the backlight is really handy in the dark. Great watch, scratches easy
This is the second time I’ve ordered one of these watches. I had the first one for several years before the plastic band eventually snapped while putting it on one day. Both of them that I’ve had suffer from scratches, but the watch itself is easy to setup, the time is large and easy to read, the watch face is a good size, and at this price I don’t know if there’s a better looking watch.

Best cheap Casio for me
I like all sub-$20 Casios, but found the bezels way too small. This is the only cheap Casio that has a 40+mm width close to a Gshock look. The resin wristband also has a Gshock look. Bright backlit orange that stays on as long as button is held. A+ basics but chonky enough to look pricier.

Itâs Orange! Itâs a Watch! It Tells Time! Itâll Work!
Iâm so over the idea of a âsmart watchâ. Really didnât use all the features and paying for the service every month even with the device paid off, it wasnât worth it. So I went old school with the Casio – a brand Iâve worn since I was a kid and digital watches hit the scene. This one has cool colors, was easy to set and though I wish the face was a tad bigger, is easy to read. The light helps when I canât see it as well. I probably wonât use the alarm – got a phone for that. But this thing is a WATCH. It has the day and date and tells time. Thatâs seriously all I wanted. Iâll hope for the best if and when I hit the beach next, but I was able to shower with it on with no issues. And you certainly canât beat the price! Very reasonableâ¦happy shopping!

This Casio watch feels sturdy. It was easy to change the date/time and the backlight works well. I was a bit worried the size was too big and it would look âchunkyâ but I think it still looks stylish especially with the off white color and feels comfortable. Review to be updated after a few weeks of use!Only minor downside was that the watch was already running / turned on when I received it. I also read this in another review.

A good price watch from a good brand. Very standard, straightforward watch with alarm and stopwatch. It will survive some bumps and bangs if you’re doing hard labour. Easy to read display. Good for adults (it’s a men’s watch with 46mm size) or a bigger kid (if they need a watch so they’re not constantly looking at their phone – ya, right!)Used this on my tractors, I removed the watch band and stuck them to the dash using double sided 3M tape. Been working for about 3 years so far bouncing around through the bush in sun, rain, snow, still on original battery. Water resistant, so would also be great for Boats, Bikes, ATVs or just about anywhere you need a weatherproof timepiece. Mounting with double sided tape (no strap) needs about 2 inches diameter flat surface.
