Less bloating than other powders
I’m NOT a vegan but I’ve been using Vega protein and greens for a couple of years and when I see other products always hesitate with the thought of switching. I’ve found that most other proteins cause me to bloat, and give some intestinal discomfort. I’ve used protein powder for years and I just always thought that this was me and had no idea it was caused by the protein brands I was using until I switched. Now I only use Vega brand, and specifically Vega Protein and Greens because the vegan aspect has completely taken away the whey induced bloating I used to just deal with and veggies are a plus.I like the chocolate flavor and although it does have a hint of that chemical aftertaste, it’s so much less than most other brands I’ve tried. Truly, I’m more of a texture person though and whereas many brands are gritty or grainy, Vega Protein and Greens is soft and powdery, almost fluffy. It’s very fine. This is great for the texture in milk. It can, however, make it a little more difficult to blend into smoothies as it wants to turn to paste on the sides of the blender glass or float, rather than sink. I use it in smoothies regardless because it’s really not that bad, it’s just how it goes with that texture of powder (think cocoa powder, more like that).I love knowing that I’m getting veggies in with my protein in a smoothie, and if I need an extra boost of protein later I can just mix the powder with almond or cashew milk and it tastes fine that way, too (although I did notice it does mix more easily with cow’s milk). There are other protein powders that provide a higher amount of protein per scoop, but this one is about average and the calories are low which I like. I would definitely recommend.

Good when with water!
I am a 48 year old woman starting to go through perimenopause so if course, getting enough protein is my new job. I was looking for something that wasn’t terribly expensive, the ingredients look good (although I will admit I am no expert. The ingredient list seems good to me), and tastes good.I usually put protein powder in coffee but since this is berry, that would be weird. So I put it in Greek yogurt with blueberries the first day. The flavor was good but holy cow did it get thick!!! (It was in the fridge at work for about 4 hours). Then I tried it with just water. It’s so so good!!!!I used to use Shakeology and although I loved the vegan strawberry flavor, it was so expensive! This tastes to me exactly like Shakeology which is a very good thing but far more reasonable in price. It is the littlest bit gritty but it doesn’t bother me. If you are a texture person, it might bother you.Over all I would say this is a great product!

Tastes decent
Tastes about as good as any plant based protein powder. I was happy that there is less sodium than other protein powders with pea protein. The flavor isn’t very strongly a berry flavor, but that was good honestly. It tastes better in almond or soy milk than in water. The quality seems good and I will definitely try other flavors.

Surprisingly Good
The powder made a surprisingly good drink. I donât hold out a lot of hope for a protein powder drink to taste great. This mix was better than expected.

OMChocolate!
This stuff is amazing! I hate protein shakes. I’ve tried a bunch of different brands. Firstly, I couldn’t get past the chalky texture. Secondly, the taste was always awful. Thirdly, I would find myself nauseas after drinking them. I went through the ingredients and found they all had whey or concentrated milk. I was having bariatric surgery May 13th and the Dr’s had a vegan formula, so I bought 2 bags at $60 each. It’s the only thing you can drink to reach the 60-80g of protein required daily while recovering. The stuff I had was chalky and tasted awful. Needless to say, I wasn’t meeting even half of my protein goals, making me weaker by the day. I read the reviews and decided to give Vega a try. I was not disappointed! It’s a little too sweet, but the chocolate has a coconut hint which reminds me of an almond joy. Who doesn’t love almond joys?! There’s minimal grit too. I just tell my brain it’s little coconut bits. I also use Fairlife milk that’s lactose free, since my surgery makes a lot of people lactose intolerant. Thank you Vega! You have a lifelong customer!!

Vega is the best!
I’ve tried every flavor of Vega Protein and Greens and they’re all SO good! They contain a lot of healthy, plant-based protein and they all smell and taste delicious. This is a true berry flavor with no weird tinges of unidentifiable tastes and no filmy residue or aftertaste. It blends so easily in my shaker cup. No powdery or gritty texture. No clumping. Most of the ingredients are organic and include lots of awesome veggies -pea protein, broccoli, beet root, kale, spinach are a few. And nope, you don’t taste any veggies- it tastes like mixed berries! It’s delicious and full of organic nutrients! I love Vega Protein and Greens and I hope they never stop making it!

Best tasting protein and greens powder I have found. I drink it almost daily for breakfast, mixed with 1 part kefir to 2 parts water. Amazing. Have repurchased and will keep doing so.
