Nice quality watch and easy to read.
This Timex fits well due to stretchy band. It compliments casual and dressy outfits. The Indiglo light is bright and easy to see at night. Due to eyesight I need a watch with a simple, plain, east to read numbers. This watch has a clear face and is perfect. Timex takes a licking from yard work, to tree trimming to swimming st the beach or pool and keeps perfect time.

Great Watch
I bought this for my mom after she purchased a few really inexpensive watches that didn’t perform well or last. I got her the 23mm, stainless steel, solid silver color, stretch band version. Mom is 88 and while, ideally, she would have a dainty, delicate little thing for her little bird bones, I got her the bigger face with easy-to-read numbers. She does find this one easy to read and the indiglo light really helps her out in the dark, which is something none of her previous watches had. I have no data to report on how well it stands up to scratches or how long the battery lasts since I just gave it to her, but it’s a Timex and we’re going off of the good reputation of the name. The battery came already installed and was easily activated by the removal of a little plastic piece that had held it in an inactive state so it didn’t run down. She was easily able to set the time by herself and required no further instructions, as anything mechanical or electronic so often does for her these days. There was a lot of discussion about the wrist band size in the product reviews and I was quite concerned about how it would fit, based on the wildly varying reports of different variations of similar watches, whose reviews were all lumped together. She has a small, delicate, wrist and I wound up taking it to a kiosk at the mall and having 3 links removed, which cost $20. It seemed to be a difficult task, even for a supposedly experienced watch worker with the correct tools, so I’m glad I didn’t try it myself. I got a nice sale price on the watch of $29.99 (from the regular listed price of $63, in December, 2024), and think it was well worth both the sale and full price, even adding in the cost of the band adjustment. Mom had wasted much more than that by purchasing several very inexpensive watches, trying to save a few dollars. Batteries ran down quickly, bands broke, she couldn’t read the tiny numbers, they turned color and left stains on her wrist, didn’t stand up to the water from hand washing, etc. Not as many people wear watches anymore, since most of us have cell phones in our hands most of the time. But if you have an elderly loved one who really misses having an analog watch (even though they have an emergency call device with a digital time readout on the other wrist, lol), just go ahead and pay more than $12 for this watch. The others don’t last, aren’t reliable, need difficult-to-replace batteries very fast, etc., and the cost of multiple cheap watches mounts quickly to more than you’d pay for a Timex. This one is well worth the money.

Perfect watch for me
I needed a new watch so searched for those with a 10 year battery. After several comparisons, I ordered this one. I love it. Simple and easy to read. The band flares out a bit where it attaches to the watch, giving it a more elegant feel. Love the stretch stainless steel band, too. Much closer fit to my wrist than those watches with links and clasps. The watch itself is not a huge on my wrist clunky looking timepiece, which I appreciate having a smaller wrist. The Indiglo feature is nice when trying to read the time in a low light setting. It seems to be keeping perfect time, too. All in all, very glad that I bought this one. I’m very happy with it.

I like this watch, BUT…
I have a 6.5″ wrist, and this watch band is too tight. The manufacturer’s website says this fits up to a 7.5″ wrist. That is not true. It CAN be put onto a 7.5 inch wrist, but it will be way, way, way too tight. On my 6.5″ wrist, it digs into my wrist and is not really comfortable.I would recommend that you contact Timex to have the watch band size increased, if you want to own this watch. That’s what I’m in the process of doing. Their customer service told me that you can send them the watch and they will add the number of links you believe you need. The cost quoted in Nov 2023 was $4 per set of 5 links. I estimate my watch needs 3-4 links to fit snugly enough not to move about on my wrist. Of course, you will probably have to pay to send it to them, but that should not be terribly expensive for such a small item. Alternatively, you can take the watch to a jeweler, who should be able to order links (if they don’t already have them) and install for you. Keep this in mind when considering if you are willing to spend the money for the watch as well as for having links added.I really like the watch. It is pretty, easy to read, and has the Indiglo light, as well as a calendar date window. Good watch, they just need to sell the band in multiple sizes.

Timex
The box was damaged but the watch was not damaged. It’s perfect size for me to see other than the date! It’s looks sporty or dressy enough for any outfit I want to wear it with.Price was good.

Easy to read time
I absolutely love this watch. As Iâve gotten older, I need an easy-to-read watch, especially if Iâm teaching. This Timex is perfect. The numbers are super easy to read. I got this to replace a Seiko that showed the day and date. This one shows the date, but itâs hard to read in that little window, and thereâs no day. But mainly for the price, I just love the ease of reading the time and the comfort of this watch. The band fit me perfectly. That should be something that you might be a little concerned about, though, if you have a large wrist because I usually have to remove links from chains to wear a new watch. This one was just right, straight out of the box. For me, this is definitely a five star watch. Love it.

Wrist size
I have bought this same watch for years. I just bought one. My last one was 10-12 yrs old. This one is so big and loose. Crazy! I paid a local jewelry store $10 to remove some links.

For a great everyday watch, Timex is the only way to go. Well made, bracelet isn’t too heavy or tight, and it’s simple, but looks very nice. Good price too.
