Make It Yourself and
Fantastic book with great information on how to clean up many health issues using food over pills. I have personally made this ‘yogurt’ and it’s delicious. Different strains of probiotics lend different health results. Super easy to prepare which give prolific amounts of colonies that actually help. Bottled probiotics never lend these quantities, nor does store bought yogurt. Make yours without additives. The recipes are included.

Great book. I’ve listened to it twice now and read it partially as well. There is a lot of information to take in. I like the well designed plan and the list of what each probiotic strain is good for.

A Different Way to Approach Health
Super Gut is an excellent book! It takes a completely different view of overall health, by emphasizing ways to restore our gut microbiome. Doctor Davis provides a comprehensive look of the human microbiome as it exists in today’s and how it can negatively impact our health if it is not functioning properly, due to poor diets, environmental pollution and other factors. He makes it easy for the average person to understand the medical jargon. He provides a four-week plan for recovery which includes recommendations for probiotic products and lots of recipes. This book has totally changed how I view my gut health and my diet. I highly recommend it.

Important book for my health
After pneumonia last winter and four rounds of antibiotics, my gut was ruined. I tried to restart a ketogenic diet I had previously done successfully but could not digest the fats. This book makes sense. I learned a lot. I am currently doing the SIBO eradication and four week gut repopulation plan. Everything is explained so that it could be understood. The plan is not easy – you have to spend $250 for supplements, make your own yogurt etc. (He tells you where you can get everything.) But it will be well worth it. I am changing my diet for life based on what I learned in this book.

Gut Health is Important!
Really enjoyed the book. But would like the preface the book comes off a little to dramatic IMHO. I referenced one part of the book with a family member that is a radiologist and they said it isn’t nearly as numerous as the part he mentions (fecalization), but it does happen. That being said, we all do need to work on our guts, which affect the whole body.Really like that he provides a lot of steps, information and recipes to use on the journey to recover your gut microbiome. Been making lot of super ‘yogurts’ with my new Ultimate Yogurt Maker, eating and making fermented foods and other ideas he suggest. Already in good shape and health for the most part, so probably not going to see anything dramatic in my case. But if want to stay healthy as get even older, need to do this!It’s not like the Food Industry or FDA is going help us. This is something YOU have to do and they are fighting you all the way with enticing ads and products to hit you in the weak spots. This book, even though a little over the top, is a great way to start.

Fast improvement to sinuses, skin and sleep
I didn’t realize how blocked my sinuses were. Deep, clear breaths feel amazing. My sleep, as well as my husband’s, has improved. I started dreaming again bc of deeper sleep. To be clear, it isn’t a weight loss book. My problem was fungal overgrowth I could not get rid of. Trips to the dermatologists didn’t rid me of red spots on my legs and arms. Within a few days of following the guidelines in this book, those red, flaky spots began to fade. Weeks later, they’re almost all gone. And we have noticeable improved health and mood despite straying off the diet a wee bit during the holidays. It’s been less than a month. Looking forward to long term results.

this book changed my life
I love the detailed recipes for making fermented milk aka yogurt. I tried to make it in a slow cooker but the modern slow cookers are just too hot. so i purchased and inexpensive yogurt machine. I have made hundreds of batches of yogurt with a variety of bacteria strains. I had no idea there were so many strains until I read this book. if you have any digestion issues, allergies, skin tags, auto immune issues, mood or memory issues, this book goes into depth what bacteria you can try to help with these health issues and how to make the yogurt. Its worth the price and the time to read it.

Good intro to gut biome with some good suggestions BUT…
It feels like the the first half and second half of this book were written by 2 different people. The first part had some very interesting information, and statistics that prove our modern diet is killing us.The second part–that talks about a suggested protocol to eliminate SIBO plus recipes, is all over the place, doesn’t have a lot of specific information, and really could have used a good editor.However, the reason for the lack of info in the 2nd part is because Dr. Davis would very much like you to become a member of his “inner circle” on his own website for $$ per month–and even then the info largely seems to come from forums, not from him or his team. So really for all his stated concern, he’s really just a gatekeeper and in it for $$.While I am grateful for the knowledge imparted in this book, I view it as an entry point into changing my own gut biome. I would not recommend buying into his website though–or at least go into it with a healthy amount of skeptism.

Un libro magistrale, studiatevelo attentamente, spiega i sintomi, le cause, gli studi e ricerche, gli strumenti, i probiotici piu’ adatti per varie problematiche e anche altri elementi ad esempio vegetali che possono aiutare, e poi un piano di recupero e delle ricette accurate. E un must have per chi ha problemi di stomaco/intestino, ma anche per artrite, pelle ecc… Super davvero.
