Skoda Kylaq variant-wise pricing with features explained: Powered, ventilated seats at this price! – Times of India

Skoda Auto India recently revealed the complete price list of the Skoda Kylaq sub-compact SUV. Previously, the company had revealed only the price of the entry-level trim. The bookings for the new Kylaqis are already underway, interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest Skoda dealership. The deliveries are slated to begin from January 27, 2024. The company also announced that the first 33,333 customers will get a complimentary 3-year standard maintenance package.
The Kylaq is offered in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. The prices are as follows (ex-showroom): Classic at Rs 7.89 lakh, Signature MT at Rs 9.59 lakh, Signature AT at Rs 10.59 lakh, Signature Plus MT at Rs 11.40 lakh, Signature Plus AT at Rs 12.40 lakh, and the top Prestige trim at Rs 13.35 lakh, with the Prestige AT priced at Rs 14.40 lakh.

Skoda Kylaq Classic
Priced at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), is the entry-level variant and is available only with a manual transmission.
It comes equipped with 16-inch steel wheels, six airbags, central locking, a manual day/night IRVM, ISOFIX anchors, and three-point seat belts for all passengers. Other features include adjustable headrests, traction control, auto engine start-stop, power windows, manual AC, rear AC vents, analogue dials with a digital MID, a front centre armrest, a 12V charging socket, tilt steering adjust, powered wing mirrors, fabric seats, and a four-speaker audio system.

Skoda Kylaq Signature
MT: Rs 9.59 lakh, AT: Rs 10.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Signature trim of the Skoda Kylaq includes all features of the Classic variant, with added upgrades such as 16-inch alloy wheels, a tyre pressure monitor, rear defogger, and a dual-tone finish on the dashboard, door panels, and seat fabric. It also features a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, chrome accents on the AC vents and door handles, front USB Type-C slots, a rear parcel shelf, and two tweeters.

Skoda Kylaq Signature Plus
MT: Rs 11.40 lakh, AT: Rs 12.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Signature Plus trim of the Skoda Kylaq adds features such as a rear centre armrest, a 10-inch touchscreen, auto AC, digital dials, and power-folding wing mirrors. It also includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel with chrome garnish, cruise control, a dash insert, and paddle shifters.

Skoda Kylaq Prestige
MT: Rs 13.35 lakh, AT: Rs 14,40 lakh (ex-showroom).
The top Prestige trim of the Skoda Kylaq includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear wiper, an auto-dimming internal rearview mirror (IRVM), and a powered sunroof. It also features ventilated seats, leatherette upholstery, and powered front seats for both passengers.

The Kylaq is based on the brand’s MQB-A0-IN platform and measures less than four metres in length. The new model will compete with already established rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The Kylaq measures 3,995 mm in length, 1975 mm in width, 1575 mm height and has a 2,566 mm wheelbase with a ground clearance of 189 mm. The Kylaq is offered with a a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine with 115 hp of power and 178 nm of torque. Gearbox options will include a 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The same engine also does the duty in the Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, VW Virtus and Taigun.
