KTM has aggressively expanded its high-capacity motorcycle portfolio in India with the introduction of 10 global models. The newly-debuted models in the bikemaker’s India stable include big naked bikes, adventure machines, off-road enduros, and motocross bikes. These models will be available at flagship KTM dealerships in cities like Bangalore, Pune, and Delhi. Let’s take a quick look at what’s on offer.

KTM 1290 Super Adventure S – Rs 22.74 lakh

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S, priced at Rs 22.74 lakh, ex-showroom, is powered by a 1,301cc V-twin LC8 engine that delivers 158 hp and 138 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a bi-directional quickshifter. This high-performance adventure bike boasts a muscular design and is equipped with semi-active suspension, including an upside-down USD front fork and a rear monoshock.

Key features include a split seat, cornering ABS, multiple traction control settings, multiple riding modes, off-road ABS, cruise control, a seven-inch TFT display, and smartphone connectivity. The 1290 Super Adventure S weighs 227 kg, has a wheelbase of 1,557 mm, and features a Bosch 10.3ME Combined ABS system with cornering ABS and off-road mode. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and a 267mm rear disc.

KTM 890 Adventure R – Rs 15.80 lakh

Priced at Rs 15.80 lakh, KTM India has launched the rally-inspired middleweight adventure bike, drawing inspiration from the KTM 450 Rally. The bike features a suspension package with fully adjustable USD fork and PDS monoshock.
It is powered by a 889cc parallel-twin engine from the 890 Duke R, retuned for adventure riding to deliver 101.5 hp and 100 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a quickshifter and slipper clutch as standard.

The bike’s tech suite includes a 5-inch TFT display with USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity, offering turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and call/SMS alerts. Other highlights include traction control, cornering ABS, multiple riding modes including an optional Track mode for more aggressive riding. The bike also comes with full LED lighting and a colour TFT display.
In addition to its flagship models, KTM has introduced a range of performance-oriented bikes. The KTM 350 EXC-F, designed for serious off-road enthusiasts, is priced at Rs 12.96 lakh. For motocross riders, the KTM 450 SX-F and 250 SX-F are available at Rs 10.25 lakh and Rs 9.58 lakh, respectively, offering powerful performance on rugged terrains. KTM also caters to younger or beginner riders with its SX series, including the 85 SX at Rs 6.69 lakh, the 65 SX at Rs 5.47 lakh, and the entry-level 50 SX at Rs 4.75 lakh.

KTM 890 Duke R – Rs 14.50 lakh

The 890 Duke R, nicknamed “The Super Scalpel,” houses a 890cc parallel-twin engine producing 121 hp and 99 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, slipper clutch.

The KTM 890 Duke R rides on 17-inch wheels and features WP semi-active suspension with five selectable modes. The bike features WP APEX 43 front suspension with 140 mm travel and a WP APEX monoshock at the rear with 150 mm travel, providing a ground clearance of 206 mm. The model has a seat height of 834 mm.
Other highlights include multiple ABS modes, traction control, and modes like Rain, Street, and Sport.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R – Rs 22.96 lakh

The 1390 Super Duke R is KTM’s most powerful bike, packing a 1,301cc V-twin engine that roars with 190 hp and 145 Nm of torque. Designed for the streets with sharp lines and a muscular frame, this model sports advanced traction control, launch control, wheelie control, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT screen and multiple ride modes, making it a competitor against the BMW S1000R.
